Happy 6 month birthday to my dashing little dumpling of a baby boy! It’s amazing how far you’ve come in such a short time my little one. Your daddy and I marvel on a daily basis at each new ‘trick’, conquest and discovery. You are such a joy and so full of happiness and delight. I love to be the reason for the light in your eyes and the grin on your face and especially that particular little squeal of a laugh when you find something simply too funny for reason. It’s as if you are shaking your head and exclaiming, ‘it just cannot be! It is too fantastical - no one warned me that such wonderment existed outside the womb!’ I spend all day looking forward to that moment when I walk in the door at night and you hear my voice and find me with your eyes and errupt into that grin, against which there is no defense, and wiggle your whole body in what I can only assume to be, total elation that your mommy has returned to you. I am so happy, speechlessly happy, that you are ours.
