Earth Hour is upon us once again!
With our combined forces we can stand together as a community and show world leaders that we care about climate change and want to turn the lights out (hehe, get it?!) on dirty air, dangerous dependency on foreign oil and costly climate change impacts, and make the switch to cleaner air and a strong economic future.
Here is the official Earth Hour site and another great site where you can put your name on a light bulb to symbolize your commitment to turning your lights off for one hour on March 27th.
I’ll be in the middle of a birthday party (Friday I turn 28 and Saturday I give in to the fact that I am now, officially and undeniably, in my late twenties and celebrate that grand fact with friends) but we’ll just have to drink our beer champagne, munch on portabella mushroom burgers (garnished with grilled red peppers, blue cheese, pesto and greens - there is actually saliva dripping from the corner of my mouth onto my keyboard at the prospect of this meal) and work our sketching skills during our modified version of Pictionary under soft sweet candle light - can’t wait!
