Hey! Just a quick post to let you know that my shop is newly stocked with all manner of home decor goodies. Check out the beautiful handmade Mola Pillows, Terrariums, embroideries and mounted antlers - Oh My! 
If you aren’t familiar with the art of Mola I have to fill you in quickly - it’s too interesting not to.Mola  is a unique and very intricate textile art form used by the Kuna women in Panama. They create panels depicting  animals, patterns or other meaningful symbols of life in Kuna culture and  daily life. The panels are then typically attached to blouses or  skirts and changed out frequently. Molas originated from the Kuna tradition of body painting and  evolved into these sewn panels when Europeans brought cloth to Panama.Anyhow, it’s fascinating and really a beautiful art form - you can read more on Wikipedia. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mola_%28art_form%29Adam and I discovered these panels when honeymooning in Costa Rica  last year. I was completely blown away by the craftsmanship, stunning  designs and artistic vision in the panels and brought a stack home to give to friends and  family as well as decorate our home with. I made multiple pillows for  our living room and, loving how the bright splashes of color really  added a punch to the room while visually pulling together our eclectic  tastes, decided to make some for the shop as well!
